We follow the tulip from the Himalayas to 16th century Turkey. Back than people started naming and describing all plants, flowers and animals from nature in books. The ruler, Sultan Süleyman, was a great statesman, but also a lover of nature. Gardening, growing, discovering new species, or crossbreeding were popular hobbies. His palace gardens were a feast for the eyes and the tulip was his number one favorite.
